Budget education.
No shortcuts.
A Singapore-based platform building structured financial literacy through live webinars — for learners who want to understand where their money actually goes.
Where the platform started
Luxuryyar was set up in 2021 after noticing a gap between general financial advice and practical budget management for working adults. Most available content focused on investing, while basic spending patterns and household budgeting received little structured attention.
The platform runs fully online, reaching participants from across the country through scheduled live webinars. Each session is designed around a single concrete topic — rent-to-income ratios, utility cost tracking, or food budget modelling — so that learners leave with something they can apply to their own finances within days.
Specific questions get specific answers
Luxuryyar does not teach abstract wealth principles. Sessions address measurable decisions: how much of a monthly income is reasonable to allocate to fixed costs, when emergency funds should be prioritised over debt repayment, or how to identify which recurring subscriptions are eroding a household budget over 12 months.
Experts who present on the platform are selected based on their ability to communicate clearly with people who have no formal finance background. Credentials matter, but so does the ability to give a practical answer without jargon.
Webinars per quarter
Sessions are scheduled consistently, with each covering a distinct aspect of personal or household budgeting.
Minutes per session
Each webinar runs 60 minutes — 40 minutes of structured content followed by 20 minutes of direct Q&A with the presenter.
Difficulty tiers
Sessions are tagged by assumed familiarity — introductory, intermediate, and applied — so participants join the right level from the start.

Lead Curriculum Advisor"Most people know they should spend less. The harder question is always where specifically — and that is what we try to answer in every session we design."

The Luxuryyar team combines curriculum design with subject expertise across personal finance, household economics, and financial communication. Each webinar goes through a review process before scheduling — content is checked for accuracy, relevance to current cost-of-living conditions, and practical applicability.
Presenters come from backgrounds in financial advisory, academic economics, and consumer credit counselling. The focus is always on communicating to someone managing a real budget with real constraints — not a theoretical model.
